NEW YORK - DOWNTOWN / FINANCIAL CENTER

Let's explore The Financial Center of NYC.

In this area you can find the City Hall building, City Hall Park and on the left the Brooklyn Bridge.

When you get to Broadway Street, if you walk down that avenue to Fulton Street, on the corner you can see St. Paul's Chapel (they call it "the miracle church" since it did not suffer any damage on September 11th). Continuing along Broadway to Wall Street, you will pass by Trinity Church, another very emblematic church.

Continuing on Wall Street to Nassau St., you will arrive at Federal Hall, where you can see the George Washington Statue and the view of the facade of the NY Stock Exchange.

A few blocks away, if you walk back down Broadway, you'll come to Bowling Green (the oldest park in the city). Nearby you will be able to see the famous Bull of the NYSE (New York Stock Exchange). They say it's good luck to touch its balls... surely you've seen that photo of several tourists! By continuing a little further around, you arrive at Battery Park, and at the end of the island, where all the ferries are.

In Battery Park you can see the surviving sphere of the WTC, The Immigrants sculpture and Castle Clinton.

Another stop you can make is the World Financial Center. While there, enter the Winter Garden, it is a glass walkway where you can perfectly see WTC from above. Inside the World Financial District you'll enter the Memorial about the Towers: GROUND ZERO.

Also, if you are interested, you can visit the NY County Courthouse.

We recommend taking a walk along the harbor, passing under the Brooklyn Bridge!
