NEW YORK - WILLIAMSBURG

To access Williamsburg you can cross from Manhattan over the bridge or, if you are already on the other side walking through Brooklyn you can walk, take a ferry from Dumbo or rent a bike.

In this neighborhood you will find walls with graffities and avant-garde design in every corner. We definitely recommend eating a delicious breakfast/brunch at Sweet Water and trying their Eggs Benedict!

CLOTHING: Paul Smith has an outlet that has good things and at good prices. Easy to get to by subway if you're going direct from Manhattan. The address is: 280 Grand street, Williamsburg.

For cheap clothes, the Flea Market is open on Sundays. Its located on the East River Waterfront with the incredible view of Manhattan as a backdrop. You can find vintage items, handicrafts, candles, clothing, furniture, antiques, decorative objects and even bicycles. It is open every Sunday from 10pm to 5pm from April to November (although it is best to check before you go as it can change).

Williamsburg is nice to explore on foot or by bike. Getting lost in the neighborhoods, walking aimlessly. If you get into the residential, you will be surprised! Many ethnic groups have enclaves there, including Germans, Hasidic Jews, Italians, Puerto Ricans, and Dominicans.

The neighborhood is also a magnet for attracting young people who move to the city, with a focus on the so-called hipster culture.

Every Saturday they do the Smorgasburg Food Fair. On the East River Waterfront, between North 6 and North 7 St and the East River.

Don't forget to see the art galleries and, if you're still there at night, the bars where there are often live bands. One highly recommended is Union Pool at 484 Union Ave, Williamsburg. On their website you can see the calendar beforehand to find out what show is on. It has an outdoor terrace with food trucks.

Another option to eat something tasty is Rocio's Spanish Baker!

And to move your skeleton: Bembé offers you Latin rhythms!

Another very close neighborhood to visit on that side of the bridge is BROOKLYN. We leave you our full guide HERE.
